Agreement
By using this website, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use the site for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.
The service
Simplified Coding provides educational articles, videos, courses, code samples, downloads, community features, and links to third-party services. The website is currently free. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features. We will provide any notice required by law if paid services are introduced later.
Accounts
You may sign in with Google. You are responsible for protecting your Google account and for activity under your Simplified Coding session. Information you provide must be accurate. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or serious misuse.
Acceptable use
You must not break the law, interfere with the site, bypass security, scrape the site in a way that harms its operation, upload malicious code, impersonate others, violate privacy or intellectual property rights, or use community features to harass people or distribute unlawful content.
Ownership and permission to use
The site, brand, original writing, design, videos, and other original materials belong to Simplified Coding or its licensors. You may access them for personal learning. You may link to public pages and quote short passages with clear credit. Unless a separate licence says otherwise, you may not republish, sell, copy in bulk, remove notices, or present our material as your own.
Code and downloads
A repository or download may include its own licence. That licence controls where it conflicts with these terms. If no licence is provided, you may inspect the material for personal learning but receive no permission to redistribute it. Code is provided without warranties and should be reviewed, tested, and secured before use.
Community content
You keep ownership of content you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display, reproduce, and moderate it as needed to operate the relevant feature. Do not submit content you lack the right to share. GitHub and Giscus terms also apply to comments handled by those services.
Third-party services
Links and embedded services, including Google, YouTube, GitHub, Giscus, Substack, and Topmate, are operated by others. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We do not control their availability, content, or decisions.
No professional advice
Content is general education, not legal, financial, medical, employment, security, or other professional advice. See our Disclaimer for important limits.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Simplified Coding is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the site or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or deliberate misconduct.
Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you are responsible for reasonable losses and claims caused by your unlawful use of the site, your violation of these terms, or content you submit. This does not apply where the loss was caused by Simplified Coding.
Ending access
You may stop using the site at any time. We may restrict or end access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that logically continue, including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits, remain effective.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka will handle disputes, unless consumer law in your home country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Material changes apply prospectively after reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
Questions or requests can be sent to contact@simplifiedcoding.net.
